The IRIS Plus angle measurement system is designed for high-accuracy CNC press brake applications where springback, material variation, and bending consistency must be controlled during production. The system uses a laser transmitter and receiver mounted on the upper beam of the press brake, with a high-speed digital camera and image processing unit built into the receiver.
During bending, IRIS Plus can measure the actual bending angle in real time and send live angle data to the CNC control. The controller can then correct the bending depth automatically, helping operators reduce trial bends, improve first-part accuracy, and maintain stable results on demanding parts.
The LaserCheck / iMeasure laser angle measurement system is a fully automatic laser-assisted measuring solution for CNC press brakes. It is used to obtain an accurate bend angle after one bending operation, even when material thickness, tensile strength, rolling direction, or springback conditions vary from batch to batch.
The system projects a laser line onto the sheet surface and uses camera-based measurement to calculate the actual bending angle. The measured value is sent back to the CNC system so the press brake can correct the bending angle automatically. This makes LaserCheck suitable for precision parts, expensive materials, and production environments where test bending should be reduced.
